Zhonghanyun Shaoguan Data Centre (中瀚云韶关数据中心) is a data center project in Shaoguan, China, operated by Zhonghanyun Technology (中瀚云科技股份有限公司). It has been announced and has not yet reached the land or permitting stage. The operator has not published an IT load figure. It is planned for 14,000 racks. ArusGrid does not convert racks into MW.

Next gate to watch: Power arranged.
Build odds is ArusGrid's reading of the public record, not a forecast, a rating or advice. It counts the gates this project has passed in public sources. Private progress does not show, a passed gate can be undone, and projects that pass every gate still stop. The method has not yet been tested against outcomes. How it works.
Shaoguan holds 11 active projects with 200 MW of planned IT load between them, and Zhonghanyun Shaoguan Data Centre (中瀚云韶关数据中心) has no published figure so it sits outside that ranking. Of those, 4 are operational, 1 is operational and expanding, 3 are under construction, 1 is being commissioned and 2 are announced only. No third party publishes a colocation vacancy rate for Shaoguan, and ArusGrid does not estimate one.
It is the only Zhonghanyun Technology project ArusGrid tracks. It sits on the Shaoguan Data Center Cluster start-up zone campus alongside Guangdong Cultural Big Data Centre (广东省文化大数据中心). No tenant has been disclosed, which is normal for colocation and says nothing about occupancy.
The stage was recorded as announced only on 1 August 2022. The money on record is CN¥2.98bn as of August 2022, the announced investment.
The US export control position for advanced AI chips in China, as of 7 October 2026, is recorded as “Licence required, presumption of denial, case-by-case review for H200-class chips since 15 January 2026”. ArusGrid holds 3 public sources for this project, the latest dated 13 June 2026, and last checked the record on 19 October 2026.
One or two hard signals sit behind the announcement. The rules are fixed and published on the Methodology page.
No AI tenant or GPU deployment stated in sources.
A party to this project (its operator, that operator's group, a funder, or a confirmed client) is headquartered in China or Macau or has an ultimate parent there. US rules require a licence for advanced AI chips destined to such entities wherever they are located. This describes the rule and says nothing about whether a licence was sought, granted or refused. Criteria are published on the Methodology page.
