Runze (Southwest) International Information Port is a data center project in Chongqing, China, operated by Runze Intelligent Computing Technology Group (润泽智算科技集团, 300442.SZ). It is under construction. The operator has not published an IT load figure. It is planned for 32,000 racks. ArusGrid does not convert racks into MW.
Latest change on record: entered the record as under construction on 18 December 2023. Record last checked against its sources on 19 October 2026.
Next gate to watch: Money committed.
Build odds is ArusGrid's reading of the public record, not a forecast, a rating or advice. It counts the gates this project has passed in public sources. Private progress does not show, a passed gate can be undone, and projects that pass every gate still stop. The method has not yet been tested against outcomes. How it works.
Chongqing holds 10 active projects with 0 MW of planned IT load between them, and Runze (Southwest) International Information Port has no published figure so it sits outside that ranking. Of those, 6 are operational, 1 is operational and expanding, 2 are under construction and 1 is announced only. No third party publishes a colocation vacancy rate for Chongqing, and ArusGrid does not estimate one.
It is the only Runze project ArusGrid tracks. It sits on the Taojia Town, Jiulongpo District campus. No tenant has been disclosed, which is normal for colocation and says nothing about occupancy.
The build is phased. A-1 and A-2 is under construction; A-7 and A-8 AI computing buildings, about 8,000 racks is under construction with a 2025 target. The stage was recorded as under construction on 18 December 2023. Power comes from 润泽科技 (self-built) through a dedicated substation at 110 kV.
The US export control position for advanced AI chips in China, as of 7 October 2026, is recorded as “Licence required, presumption of denial, case-by-case review for H200-class chips since 15 January 2026”. ArusGrid holds 7 public sources for this project, the latest dated 29 September 2026, and last checked the record on 19 October 2026.
Construction or financing is evidenced, or several independent signals agree. The rules are fixed and published on the Methodology page.
Reaching this stage requires a dated construction source, which corroborates the project on its own.
Buildings A-7 and A-8 are described as intelligent computing centres.
A party to this project (its operator, that operator's group, a funder, or a confirmed client) is headquartered in China or Macau or has an ultimate parent there. US rules require a licence for advanced AI chips destined to such entities wherever they are located. This describes the rule and says nothing about whether a licence was sought, granted or refused. Criteria are published on the Methodology page.

No tenant disclosed. Most colocation leases are confidential, so this says nothing about occupancy. Not yet checked against second-order sources.
No published price band exists for China, and ArusGrid does not estimate from the regional benchmark alone. What was searched is listed on the Colo prices page.
