du Dubai hyperscale data centre is a data center project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operated by du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications). It has been announced and has not yet reached the land or permitting stage. The operator has not published a capacity figure, and ArusGrid does not estimate one.
One or two hard signals sit behind the announcement. The rules are fixed and published on the Methodology page.
Built for a hyperscaler tenant on a greenfield site. Microsoft is described as the main tenant in press coverage but not confirmed from Microsoft's own side.
The country has a country-level export framework and this project has a US approved operator or confirmed client. That is a structural reason for compliance, not a licence held by the operator. Criteria are published on the Methodology page.
